 CCPS Match days
« Thread Started on Oct 26, 2007, 3:12pm »

Just putting this out there for CCPS to actually see if:

Saturdays would be better than Sundays
OR
Sundays would be better than Saturdays

And what is your opinion on the subject.

Saturday's are a bit easier for me but either one still works... It's only a few hours...

So long as dates don't conflict with other local matches.
During football season, Saturdays would be nice.

Umm, I don't see what the big deal is. That is as long as it does not conflict with other local (Mill Creek, Wichita, Nebraska, Iowa) schedules. Set the date and see who shows up.
I would think that this is something the Section Coordinator would be involved with in helping sort out and prevent conflicts to increase mission count.
Heck, I just consider myself lucky when I'm actually able to shoot because I happen to be around.

My only issue is that if the Saturdays are the same weekend that Topeka would normally be in would conflict with Higginsville, MO which is another match that I am going to try and start shooting more regularly.

My vote would be to keep in on Sunday. However, I can't seem to figure out how to vote. :)

I like the idea of a mix of both.

The second Sat is typically Millcreek, and the third Sat is Higginsville, so if you picked a Sat other than the 2nd or 3rd, that would be OKAY. I don't like the idea of switching back and forth between Sat and Sun., hard to remember which day on which month. I'm like Chris, I don't know which way to vote, but I'd lean toward the third Sunday.

I voted for Saturday but no matter which day, stick with one for the whole year so plans can be made in advanced. Make it the 4th Saturday and we can shoot Topeka that day and Augusta the next day. Gene T.

I like the idea of having a switch in the schedule as long as it doesn't conflict with other club matches that I presently belong to. The way I look at it is if a person wants to go shoot a match on that day they will attend......

I like saturday's as it doesn't conflict with taking the family to church.

I'd prefer Saturdays so I can go to church on Sunday morning.

Sundays work better for me.... But... more importantly, pick one or the other and stick to it. It's easier to remember Third Sunday of the month every month over if it is July the match is on a Saturday but in August it's on a Sunday.
