I thought that I saw a piece of 6" or 8" culvert laying over by the old car across the road from the high power range. The ditch by the small bore range next to the clubhouse is a pain in the butt to cross with a gun cart. If we would take the time to cut a 4' piece of that unused culvert and put it in place with some concrete, we could reduce the erosion there and make it easier to cross.
I'd be willing to bring a shovel and some other tools to the range sometime to help put in a 4' section or so if the club would allow the use of a section of the culvert and would purchase the 5-6 bags of readimix it would take to cement it in and smooth out the path.
I've got a small hand mixer that will make a bag at a time and a trowel or two. Anyone want to lend a hand? Board of Directors? What say you?
I'm going to post this on the small bore forum as well so don't get your knickers in a twist <grin>
