My wife and I would like to become members but have a roadblock with the two references reqirement. We moved up here from Texas in September 2016 and don't have anyone local who can reference us. In Texas we went to two differnt, large ranges where as long as you were safe with your firearms and shooting no one knew your name or you personally because, well, you followed the rules.
I also noticed how quiet this message board is so this many not be the place to ask this. I did email the membership director a s well, but wanted to cover my bases.

I too was wanting to re join the club. Ibwas a memberca few years ago and moved away for the last 7 years. I'm back now. My brother Jeff has a membership but he passed away before last Christmas. Is there any way that a membership can be obtained without 2 members knowing me as I live in Lawrence.i miss the ranges and the strict safety policies your club demands, it's a safe place to sight in and try out new rifles and pistols.

Is there any way that a membership can be obtained as I live in Lawrence, and i dont off hand personally know any current members.I truly miss the ranges there and the strict safety policies your club demands, it's a safe place to sight in my firearms, enjoy the outdoors as well as meet like minded gun enthusiasts. I remember always having a nice relaxed feeling after a few hours at the rifle range. I'd like to also participate in one of the Rifle competition programs you folks have always had. Please let me know if there is any hope of obtaining a new membership with the club. Thanks.

I would say the best way to do that is to show up at a rifle match and talk to the director or some members.

I would say the best way to do that is to show up at a rifle match and talk to the director or some members, or maybe even shoot a match since you do not have to be a member to do that.

I was lucky enough to have been invited out by a friend to shoot at your facility and it was great. He said he would sponsor me to become a member but I need a second member to also sponsor me to join. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this? I am an NRA member, just need that second person to sponsor me.
Thanks
