My next Kansas CCH class will be Sunday, August 31, 2008. Cost of this class will be $100. The class room portion will be held in a conference room at a local hotel in Topeka and the shooting qualification portion will be held at a local, climate controlled indoor range in Topeka. We plan to adhere to the following schedule: 8:00 A.M. – 9:00 A.M. Refreshment and Registration at the Hotel 9:00 A.M. – 12:30 P. M. Classroom Instruction 12:30 P.M. – 1:30 P.M. Lunch (on your own) 1:30 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. Continue Classroom Instruction 5:00 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. Adjourn to Reconvene at the Pistol Range 5:30 P.M. – 6:30 P.M. Continue Range Instruction and Qualify at the Pistol Range Cost of this class will be $100 which will include Light Refreshment, Manual, required handouts, range fee and targets. Class size will be limited to no more than 20 participants. Seats will be filled on a first come first served basis. Prepayment of $25 mimimun deposit or $100 full class fee will reserve your seat. Prepayment of the Full Course Fee will speed registration. Unfilled seats on the day of class, if any, will be filled on a first come first served basis up to the limit of 20 participants. You must be 21 years of age, have a Kansas Drivers License or Kansas ID card to take this class, and MUST show it the day of the class. You must NOT have any felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions which would prohibit you from owning a handgun. Bring Eye and Ear Protection, if you have it. It is required on the range. Bring your own gun and factory ammunition. You should have at least 50 rounds of ammunition. Reloaded ammunition is NOT allowed. This is a safety issue and is dictated by the State of Kansas. If you don’t have a gun, you may rent one from the folks at the pistol range for $10.00. Ammunition may also be purchased at the range, if needed. DO NOT bring your gun or ammunition into the class room. This is also a safety issue. The State of Kansas prohibits live ammunition in the class room. Those completing the course will get the required certificate to apply for a Kansas Concealed Carry Handgun (CCH) license. If interested, Call or Email me for additional details. On the revised schedule for last Sunday there was a CCH class noted in R1 or R2. I'm curious as to where any announcement for the class might have been posted?

It was never posted. Filled up to quick...
Look in the "Instructor list" section of this form and there is a list (3 of us) that have met the requirements to use the CCGC range for CCH classes.
Bob's class is listed above and Ron & I run a class together.
Our next one will be Sun, Oct 22. If interested call or e-mail one of us for availability.

Center, 6715 SW Westview Rd, Topeka, KS. If you are planning to attend please bring: * Handgun that you are going to carry (if possible).
